Fenway was Mr Green and he was the favorite of many people when we were posting pictures of the Music litter babies online. Of course, several people mentioned that he seemed to be in most of the pictures, but that's because he was such a ham and adventurous pup.
Fenway lived with the Driscoll family in CT; Thomas, (who did all the research and found the Gaylan's Goldens), younger brother Gordon, and mom and dad, Diane and Kevin. They were first time dog owners and they became true golden dog lovers. They truly loved this sweet boy of theirs. They were doing therapy work with Fenway.
Unfortunately, they lost Fenway when he was not quiet 8 years old to a mysterious lung disease within two weeks, possibly lung carcinoma.
He is missed so much.
Fenway was named by Thomas, who is a huge Boston Redsox fan....hence the name Fenway, after Fenway Park.
He spent his time with two energetic boys and his summers swimming at their cottage....what more could you ask for if you were a golden!😀
Fenway and Diane got his Therapy Dog title from AKC. This is a new title that AKC is now recognizing and is given when they have logged many hours doing therapy visits.
Diane's goal was to do therapy work with Fenway when she first got him and she reached that goal. They did therapy work most every week.
